The release for sprint “German Rex” is out! Updated packages are available for download from binaries.projectcalico.org.
The big news in this release is support for deployment using Chef. Specifically this release contains Chef recipes which simplify and expedite the installation of OpenStack and Calico.
Also in this release are fixes to the following bugs.
- VMs weren’t able to access their metadata (http://github.com/Metaswitch/calico/issues/3).
- DHCP address allocation assumed a /24 subnet and so didn’t work for subnets defined with different prefix lengths (http://github.com/Metaswitch/calico-neutron/pull/1).
To upgrade to this release, simply run “apt-get update && apt-get upgrade” on each node.
