Welcome to the first release of Project Calico! Project Calico is a new virtual networking model which brings the techniques and technologies used at massive scale in the internet into the data center.

The first release gives you the starting function to allow you to see for yourself, and all you need is some servers running a recent Ubuntu with OpenStack installed (subsequent releases will support different OS and cloud environments).  If you can’t wait to get started, take a look here and let us know how you get on!
